According to Saudi
media, at the end of the Hajj Expo 2023, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah reduced
the insurance cost from 235 Saudi Riyals to only 87 Saudi Riyals, which is a
63% reduction.
The Ministry of Hajj
and Umrah in its tweet in this regard further informed that the insurance
premium of Hajj pilgrims has also been reduced by 73% to 29 Rials from 109
Rials.
The duration of Hajj insurance coverage for foreign
pilgrims is for 90 days starting from the day of entry into Saudi Arabia and
will be valid within the country's borders.
The insurance covers emergencies such as death due to
accidents, permanent disability, injuries in traffic accidents, hospitalization
for various diseases, and childbirth, besides the repatriation of dead bodies
to their countries.
It should be
